My Resume

I am an award-winning journalist and documentarian, focusing on compelling storytelling, cultural exchange, and amplifying diverse voices. Additionally, I received an honors degree from Barrett, the Honors College at ASU.

Along with my studies, I worked at ICT News, formerly Indian Country Today, where I contributed to a Native-majority newsroom and covered communities worldwide. I worked at every level of the newscast to plan, script, write, and edit news packages. I set up the studio and helped in the control room during the filming of the newscast. I helped create language segments sharing the Ute Language. I take pride in covering Indigenous communities because of my Ute and Genizaro Heritage.

I also helped create a documentary that was aired on PBS Newshour. Focusing on global issues, I helped found Current Foreign Affairs and International Reporting at Cronkite, where I edited and wrote stories on broad topics. I also helped create a radio program to give students hands-on broadcast experience, reporting on international topics. Joining the RIAS Berlin Commission student program in 2023 helped my knowledge of German politics and culture.
